8 Reasons You Feel Chronic Fatigue And Low Energy

Updated: Jan 26, 2021

#1 - Lack of nutrients (especially Iron). This is the biggest reason for fatigue in my opinion. Many foods in stores today are full of empty calories. Even people who consider themselves eating healthy consume approximately 50% of empty calories with their daily meals. "Empty calories" means that this food has no nutrients or have close to zero nutrients.

#2 - Not enough sleep. Before electricity was developed people slept about 9 hours each night. Today, with TVs, computers, phones, and other gadgets, people sleep about 6:45 hours. This results in feeling weak and tired. It is also important to know that even if you sleep longer but go to bed any time after 11 PM you still will end up feeling tired. It happens because around 11 PM is the most active time for our body to cleans itself and produce new healthy energy. Ideally, you would want to go to bed at around 10:00-10:30 PM to make sure your body is fully asleep by 11 PM.

#3 - Overwhelmed immune system. Most of us don't realize how much our immune system is overloaded in today's world. Just in the last 100 years humanity created more than 85,000 new chemicals which directly affect human body. Add to it processed food (including any boiled and fried food you make in your kitchen), which lacks nutrients and added stress of the fast pace life we lead today. One of the results in our lives is that most of people have an issue called "leaky gut syndrome". It means that proteins and minerals enter the bloodstream before they are completely digested. Our immunity recognizes them as traitors and starts destroying. It results in many autoimmune sicknesses and low energy level.

#4 - Antibiotics and H2 blockers. They reduce the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the gastric mucosa. It directly affects the intestinal microflora. There are more bacteria in the human colon than in the rest of the body, but excessive amounts of toxic bacteria are becoming a serious problem that can cause a person's energy level to decline. For this reason, prebiotics are so popular today: they return "beneficial" bacteria to the body.

#5 - Hormonal imbalance. The thyroid glands and adrenal glands play an important role in the production of energy in the body and ensuring its resistance to stress. The most common cause of problems with the thyroid glands (autoimmune thyroiditis) and the adrenal glands (chronic cortical adrenal insufficiency) is an autoimmune disease in which the body mistakes its own glands for foreign invaders and begins to attack them. High stress levels negatively affect the adrenal glands, which are involved in the stress control. Increased stress also leads to suppression of the main center of hormonal control - the hypothalamus (this is the main "circuit breaker"). The hypothalamus is directly responsible for women's aging and men and women's energy levels. The main support you can provide to your hypothalamus is good quality Omega-3 and Vitamin D3 daily.

#6 - Acidic body. If your body stays acidic on regular basis it will result in weakness and low energy. Down the road it will cause illnesses. If this is your case, make sure you eat alkaline foods. I wrote an Alkaline Plan which you can purchase by clicking here (14 Day Alkaline Diet

Plan.) The plan provides the extensive list of alkaline foods you can safely eat, and explains what else you can do to keep your body alkaline.

#7 - Decreased physical activity and lack of sunlight. In today's life physical exercise for many is pressing the pedals of the car and the buttons of the TV remote control. This causes condition called "detraining". Add to this lack of sunlight, as people are less and less involved in outdoor activities, which causes a widespread deficiency of vitamin D. Vitamin D plays an important role in regulating immune function. Its lack is another stress for the body, expressed in a decrease of vitality, provoking autoimmune diseases and an increased risk of cancer and infectious diseases. I recommend adding Vitamin D with your supplements as it is a really complicated process to receive it directly from the sun, even if you spend some time outdoor. The best Vitamin D supplements are D3+K2 or D3+Magnezium+Zink. Make sure it is a fat soluble liquid form. Pills and water soluble forms are useless and don't get absorbed at all. Keep in mind that Vitamin K is very easy to get with food. Overdosing on it may cause interference with Calcium in your body. If you eat such foods as broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, greens, endive, spinach, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, parsley, bananas, snap peas, edamame, Swiss chard, turnip greens, watercress, and for that matter, any other green leafy vegetable, you are already providing your body with more than enough Vitamin K. With this said, you have to decide for yourself what D3 you need. If you eat such vegetables on daily basis then just D3 in liquid fat soluble form is enough for you. If you don't eat these vegetables regularly then I definitely recommend you D3+K2 liquid form. To understand if it is fat soluble or not, you need to look at ingredients. It should say something like: Olive Oil, Vitamin D3 (or simply have other oils in ingredients.)

#8 - Stress levels. Once upon a time, people, in order to send a letter, gave it to the postal service with delivery on a horse, and it could take weeks to get a response. Today, with e-mails and text messaging it takes a few minutes to completely change your plans. I still remember the good old days when the slogan of Madison Avenue advertising was "Sex sells". Today their motto is "Fear sells". If earlier television and the rest of the press relied on romance and humor, now it seems that their goal is to scare people to death. Instead of reporting on fresh positive events, the media is inventing a “fresh crisis” every day. This results in high levels of stress even in the mentally strongest people.

If you recognize your reason for daily fatigue and a low energy level in one or more of these 8 causes, then you know what needs to be fixed. Remember, the beginning of healing starts in realizing the problem.
